Yummy, Yummy, Yummy I got real food in my Tummy!!!

Nick has been eating 35 - 40 oz of formula each day and recently he has really become interested in watching us eat and drink. He's even tried to get ahold of my Sunkist. Well this afternoon he had a Bah Bah and after an hour and a half he was extremely fussy (which isn't the norm) he had another 6 ounces and acted like he was a starving child! It's happened quite a few times in the past week and we were really trying to hold off on cereal until we returned from Tennessee....but as everyone knows ... things don't always go as planned. So tonight (after much research of course) we decided to let the little guy try out cereal. I just knew it would end up all over me, but he actually seemed to enjoy eating and even liked holding the spoon all by himself. I was really amazed at how he ate the cereal and didn't spit it back at me. Then it was time for bed....I tried to rock him in the glider, but he wasn't having that...so I put him in the amby bed (thinking that he would somehow feel bad for pitching a little fit in my arms) but to my surprise he got quiet and went right to sleep! I feel like he is growing up WAY too fast for me....
