Last night we went to Daniel and Amy's to celebrate Danny's birthday. Here's Nick with his cousin Lilli:) They are too cute!

Snoozin'....
I thought this was the cutest moment! Tony and Mr. Nick were catching some Z's yesterday morning... Nick's Nana, Aunt Katie, and Uncle Jody came by to visit and brought us lunch later on during the day. Nana had a scale that showed the ounces, so we were able to see how much weight Nick's gained and he is now 9 pounds 2 ounces!

On Feb. 5th, Nick slept in his own room for the first time. It's actually going better than I thought it would. For the first couple nights he wanted to stay awake for about an hour and a half around 2 am... but the past couple nights he has went back to sleep after having his bottle (which made me a happy Momma).

Nick loves playing on his little Baby Einstein gym. He is growing so fast! This was taken on Feb. 6th... We're working on keeping him awake more during the day so he'll sleep better at night.

Uncle Marvin, Aunt Farris, and Jackie stopped by on their way back to Mississippi. It was nice to see them.
I Love Football...
Nicholas enjoyed watching his first SuperBowl with his Daddy.

Nick has so many people who love him:)

We LOVE storytime:) Nick really enjoyed his first story.
Here is Nicholas at two weeks old. He weighed 7 lbs and 14 ounces on his two week visit today.

Nicholas LOVES his nursery. Here are some pictures of his room... see if you can find the little monkey in the crib:)

Nicholas learned to suck his thumb right away! Probably because he was hungry! Breast feeding didn't exactly work out for him. He didn't want anything to do with it and lost 11 ounces before we left the hospital... needless to say I am pumping and putting the milk in a bottle for him... do you think he'll be spoiled??? I say he's pretty smart!

Here we are on the day that we were able to go home. We were in the hospital from Tuesday until Sunday. We were REALLY ready to get home.

On January 15th, we went to the doctor and she admitted me to the hospital because my blood pressure had gotten higher each week and since I was already OVER due... she decided that it would be a good idea to get things going. On Wednesday, I had contractions all day and finally my water broke at about 5pm. I was dilated 5 cm at that point. Thursday morning I got my epidural and that afternoon we started to push... after a couple hours of pushing and no progress... and his heart decelerating twice (on the last two pushes)... they decided that we needed to have a c-section. At 5:15 we headed off for surgery and at 5:37 pm on January 17th... Nicholas Anthony Day was born! He weighed 7 lbs. 11 ounces and was 21 inches long.
